Tuesday evening drew a good crowd which included the Whitton Chairman and Senior First Team Coach.  Three points for Whitton Utd Res. would see them League winners over Ransomes on goal difference.

Whitton started brightly with lots of shots at goal.  Claydon were causing problems in the Whitton goal but lacked the finishing in the end of Whitton, who finished like Champions - eleven times.

The final whistle closed a season for the Whitton squad of eighteen boys, who have all developed and improved and showed just how hard they have worked over the last three years; which must be pleasing for the Chairman and Senior First Team Coach with an eye on the future.  Promotion was already guaranteed with last weekends win,  Whitton Utd Res now look forward to joining Whitton Utd A in Division 1 next season; which shows the strength in depth of Whitton Utd Youth Section.
